It’s important to note that all alterations are an additional cost, but rest assured, during your appointment when you choose your dress we will offer valuable advice and guide you on the approximate pricing for any alterations that may be necessary.
Usual alterations include the length (hem) of the dress, this will not be able to be pinned or completed unless you have the shoes on which you will be wearing on the day of your event.
This length will be pinned to which you desire/ you find easiest to walk in.
A lot of people ask why the dresses are made so long as a standard, however, they have to cater for the tallest possibility, such as 6ft and 3inch heels. We can always take length off a dress, we cannot add.
Other alterations include strap shortening (if they are fixed straps), which is a very minor alteration to be done.
Prices for alterations can vary dependant on the area and circumstances, alterations shops are priced higher than independent's. We have the most experience with independent women and they charge between £30-£45 for the hem and £5-£10 for straps.
